What do you think about the President now? The way he handled this situation was exactly what I would like to hope a President would handle the business of the country and the protection of the country. Imagine on Friday, he gave the order to proceed with this mission, then went to Alabama to tour the devastation there, then to Miami for the space shuttle and Gabbie Gifford as well as then prepare for the public dinner on Saturday and being funny. Wow, that says a lot about his ability and who is really is as a man and the President of the United States.

After the first two years of the Obama administration, many things have happened and it is hard to believe that both the far right and the far left seem to be fighting hard against the presidents movement to the middle. During the mid-term elections, as a result of the lack of full support from the left, the right has taken control and clearly demonstrated what they intend to do. The battle begins now to build support for the president that will allow him to not only have a second term but to have the coat tails that will give both bodies in congress back to the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, the Republican party has been taken over by extreme elements and they have proven that they seem not to be interested in the well being of everyone, only the wealthy and the powerful. Now begins the fight to protect everyone else.

It seems that the techniques that have been used by the previous administration fit the definition of torture and if torture is illegal, someone broke the law. It seems that some people seem to think they are above the law and when people’s lives are at stake that seems to be pretty serious. Something needs to be done.

The state promised Englewood $4,000,000 for school year 2008-2009 budget. The voters approved that budget and the school district implemented the budget. Mid-year without any consultation with the district administration, the Governor cut the allocation by $2,000,000. No other school district in the state has been required to absorb a cut of this magnitude. The Governor’s cut of already certified funds has undermined what the district has done and is doing that benefit our children. We do not want to lose any of this funding. It is unfair! Let us know what you think about this and stand with us to fight for our young people. For more information on this story we have posted details at http://www.allholdings.com/pdf_files/broken_promises.pdf
